Comenda UK is celebrating its first business year, after relaunching and separating from previous UK distributor, Hubbard Systems.
As of 5 November, Comenda UK will have been operating solo within the UK market for a year.
The Italian-born Comenda brand has been active in providing turnkey warewashing solutions for the universal catering industry for over 50 years.
Last year, however, it was decided mutually by the holding groups, Hubbard Systems and the Ali Group to separate, putting the control back into the original Comenda brand.
To this day, Comenda UK receive full support from the factory in Milan.
The UK arm of the brand is celebrating a handful of anniversaries, which include the company’s first birthday, the launch of the website and the launch of the Prime Line warewasher range in the UK. It has also been a year since Comenda announced their partnership with First Choice Group, as the official spares partner in the UK.
The success of the Prime-Line equipment range has been impressive. The warewashing equipment allows for simple use, rapid cleaning and energy efficiency, providing the perfect solution for almost any catering establishment.

Every one of the Prime-Line products is designed with a simple touch screen control panel for easy use, showing all functioning parameters and detailing any complications – allowing for easier monitoring.
It has been a year of growth for the business, which has seen a series of brand new product lines and some new staff members
Jonathan Mellor, UK Brand Manager at Comenda UK said: “We are thrilled with our first successful year in business and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has continued to show their support.
